The Fall open burning season runs September 1 through November 30. Winter open burning is December 1 through February 28. There are still burn requirements during open burning season. More information can be found on the the Montana DEQ website here.

No debris burning is allowed July - September due to increased fire danger. For debris burns, only agricultural and wildland debris is allowed. For more information on burn limitations visit the Department of Natural Resources (DNRC) website here.
